AND THE WINNER IS ... right in the middle of things. Patricia E. Jones, a 1966 graduate of The Rayen School, correctly identified five people in last Sunday’s Years Ago picture. No one identified the driver, W.E. Johns of the Al Koran clowns. The Rayen graduates in front of the car were Sid Kline, class of 1937; Gertrude McKelvey Jones, 1906; Patricia Jones; Laura Powers Bennell, 1909, and Bill Jones, 1934, son of Gertrude Jones and father of Patricia. Jones lives in California, but her mother and sister were visiting in Youngstown last weekend and took the paper home to her. She was somewhat nonplussed to hear that a commemorative ashtray given out on the occasion of her graduation could be found in an antique store. The ashtray, purchased by a Vindicator editor, several years ago, was the prize in the caption contest.
