Sales tax collections in March 2008, compared with March 2007 (Columbiana County passed an additional sales tax in 2007):

Mahoning County: $2.18 million, up 4 percent from $2.09 million

Columbiana County: $948,000, up 40 percent from $677,000

Trumbull County: $1.69 million, up 3 percent from $1.63 million

State total: $132.83 million, up 5 percent from $126.57 million
