Parents announce Dota-Ortiz plans for July wedding

X Gary J. and Carole L. Dota, 1743 Island Drive, Poland, and Herbert and Macy Ortiz, 6000 Boulder Creek Drive, Austintown, announce the engagement of their children, Lisa Marie Dota and Nathaniel Anthony Ortiz.

The bride-to-be, of the Island Drive address, is pursuing a degree in psychology at Youngstown State University. She works as a teller at Charter One Bank and as a barista at Starbucks, both in Boardman.

The prospective groom, of 112 Hopewell Drive, Struthers, also attends YSU and is studying communications and human relations. He is employed as associate pastor at Victory Christian Center in Coitsville.

The couple will be united in marriage in an open ceremony at noon July 19 at Victory Christian Center. A reception honoring the couple will take place for invited guests will take place at Leo’s Banquet Center in Howland.
