Parents announcing Johnston-Gesacion troth, wedding date

X The parents of Tasha Johnston, 602 43rd Ave. N., St. Petersburg, Fla., and Nicholas J. Gesacion III, 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, are announcing the couple’s engagement.

John and Kimiko Johnston, 558 Ruth Drive, Hubbard, are parents of the bride-elect, and Nick and Diane Gesacion, 11 Walker Court, Poland, are parents of the future groom.

Miss Johnston graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology. She is a language arts teacher with Meadowlawn Middle School in St. Petersburg and is working toward a master’s degree in school counseling.

Mr. Gesacion is the director of new media with the Philadelphia 76ers in Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems at Mount Union College in Alliance.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows Aug. 2 as they are united in marriage during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. at Poland Presbyterian Church. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
