CLASSES

• East High School Alumni will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

• Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny’s. Guests are welcome.

CLUBS

• Mahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. James Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. New players are welcome. For more information, call (330) 757-9503.

• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. June 2 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown Poland Road, Youngstown. Sally Pallante will be the speaker, and entertainment will be by the Burke School of Irish Dance. There will be a catered meal. The cost is $13 for paid-up members and $18 for others. • Tri-County Chapter of Medical Assistants will install officers and present scholarships at a banquet June 3 at Cassese’s M.V.R., 410 N. Walnut St., Youngstown. • Warren Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Wacky Fashions” luncheon and program from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 9 at Aulizio’s Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown Road, Warren. Volunteers will take part in a crazy fashion show, and there will be special music. The featured speaker will be Elaine Kitchin, whose topic will be “Making Choices in a World Full of Opinions.” The cost for the day is $10. • Youngstown Women’s Connection has scheduled an “Apron Strings” luncheon for noon June 10 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Special music will be by Linda Spence, a feature will be presented by Shirley Griffin, and the guest speaker will be Elaine Kitchin, whose theme will be “Trading in Control for Contentment.” The cost is $10. • Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. New members will be initiated, and a memorial program will be given by the chaplain, Sandie Reel.

GUILDS

• Youngstown Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America will meet at 10 a.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the IOOF Hall in Canfield. Linda Gwinnup will preside, and Carolyn Halliday will be in charge of the continuation of the April watercolor workshop project. • D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will have a Memorial Day picnic on Monday at Boardman Park. Other events planned are: Tuesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Plaza, cost is $5; Wednesday, walk in Mill Creek Park, Route 224, at 6 p.m.; Thursday, meeting for group discussion at the church at 7:30 p.m.; and May 30, trip to Mountaineer Resort at 5:30 p.m., leaving from the church. • The local chapter of Post-partum Support International meets the first and third Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the D&E Counseling Center, 142 Javit Court, Austintown.
