Salem sets Memorial Day services

SALEM— A breakfast for veterans at the Salem Chamber of Commerce at 8 a.m. begins the celebration hosted by the Salem Patriotic Association. The community memorial service is at 9 a.m. outside the Chamber of Commerce. Parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. on S. Broadway Street. The parade beings at 10 a.m. via State Street to N. Lincoln Avenue to Hope Cemetery. Another service will be held at the cemetery that will conclude with a 21 gun salute, taps and a C-130 fly over.
