Canfield softball edges Poland in district final

Canfield High edged Poland, 2-1, to win the Division II district softball championship at Jefferson’s JAG Field.

The Cardinals advance to the regional tournament at Akron’s Firestone Stadium, May 28, at 5 p.m., against either Chardon Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin or Chesterland West Geauga.
