Telephone donations

YOUNGSTOWN — The Greater Youngstown Point is trying to keep residents on the line by requesting donations of telephones. Since AT T introduced the Lifeline Ohio plan, which provides phone services to qualifying low-income families for a discount, the demand for working home telephones has created a shortage. The Point is asking people to bring their unneeded phones to 322 Wick Ave. For information on donating a phone, call (330) 480-0310.
