Recent highlights in creating the Taft Technology Center:

September 2006: A $2 million federal grant is secured as the final piece of a $5.8 million package of state and federal funds.

November 2006: Five vacant buildings on the site are demolished.

December 2006: Building named after former Gov. Bob Taft.

July 2007: Mike Coates Construction Co. of Niles begins construction.

May 2008: Turning Technologies moves in.
