Senior center hosts Older Americans Day

YOUNGSTOWN — The Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County hosted its annual Older Americans Day program on May 9.

A cookout and beach-ball bingo were part of the day’s festivities. The Volney Rogers Middle School Choir, accompanied by director Mark Halls, performed selections from “High School Musical” and Broadway productions.
