Ursuline baseball advances to district championship

STRUTHERS — Robert Switka and Jake Detec combined on a three-hit shutout, leading Ursuline High to a 7-0 victory over Crestview in a Division III baseball district semifinal game at Cene Park Monday.

The Irish (19-7) will play for a district championship today on Cene Park’s Field 1, following a Division IV tournament game between Springfield and Mathews.
