At stake: Big Brown will attempt to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years, since Affirmed, and the first unbeaten Triple Crown horse since Seattle Slew in 1977. Ten horses since have won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, only to lose at Belmont, the latest being Smarty Jones in 2004.
