READY FOR TEE TIME: With arrangements completed for an 18-hole scramble to benefit Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, Carole Lewis of Howland is ready to welcome golfers to the “Play It For the Kids” golf outing at Trumbull Country Club.

WARREN — Area golfers are welcome to participate in a day of golf on June 2 at Trumbull Country Club, 600 Golf Drive N.E., to help support the efforts of Northeast Ohio Adoption Services.

Dubbed “Play It for the Kids,” the outing will be in the form of an 18-hole scramble and will begin with a casual luncheon buffet. Golfers will tee off at 1 p.m., and dinner afterward will include special awards and prizes. The Social Worker of the Year will be named.

Carole Lewis of Howland is organizing the 15th annual event for NOAS.

Tickets for the scramble, lunch and dinner are $150; dinner tickets for nongolfers are $25. The event is limited to 120 players, and the registration deadline is May 30. Golfers can sign up either individually or as a foursome by calling (800) 686-6627, Ext. 110.
