COLUMBIANA — Allen Lodge 276, 722 Springfield Road, will serve its sixth annual spaghetti dinner from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Positive people wanted for group meeting

YOUNGSTOWN — All are invited when the Positive People Group meets from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Youngstown Sports Grille, 7463 South Ave.

There will be a $5 cover charge for pasta and salad and the meeting. At 6 p.m., coordinators Ron Nanosky and Roy Thomas will share the mission of PPG and the planned projects for 2008.

Ceremony will open memorial garden

GREENVILLE , Pa. — UPMC Horizon Greenville Auxiliary will unveil its “Garden of Life” memorial garden at the hospital, 110 N. Main St., during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. May 27.

The auxiliary created the garden to provide a place for people to pay tribute to family and friends and for visitors and staff to relax.

Bricks for the garden patio may be purchased and engraved with names of loved ones. Donors may also sponsor benches, bird feeders, trees and flowering shrubs.

Antique appraisal is Relay for Life benefit

MERCER, Pa. — A Cruise In and Antique Appraisal will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. May 31 at McCandless Ford, 8416 Sharon-Mercer Road.

There will be a 50-50 drawing, Chinese auction, raffle, music and food.

Admission is free, and appraisals by dealer Ron Tamber of Country Connection Antiques are three for $5.

All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s 24-Hour Relay for Life at Mercer High School, which will take place at 9 a.m. June 14.
