Lockett-Shelby wedding date is announced

X The engagement of Dr. Katura Antoinette Lockett, 134 McEntire Lane S.W., Decatur, Ala., and Dr. Jerry Anthony Shelby III, 929 Highland Drive, Madison, Ala., and plans for their approaching marriage are being announced by their parents, Tyrone Sr. and Diane Lockett, 1934 Volney Road, Youngstown, and Jerry Jr. and Annie Shelby, also of 929 Highland Drive, Madison.

The couple have chosen June 7 for their 2 p.m. wedding at St. Christine Church in Youngstown and for their reception afterward at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek MetroParks.

The bride-elect graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy in Erie, Pa., with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist with Walgreens in Decatur.

The prospective groom is a pharmacist with CVS in Decatur. He served with the U.S. Navy and graduated from Auburn University in Alabama with a doctor of pharmacy degree.
