Salem news: Retail Business Association will have a citywide garage sale

The Salem Retail Business Association will have a citywide garage sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The sale, which will include the downtown area, was designed to be in conjunction with the East State Street Preservation Association’s Annual Yard Sale.

Audrey Null, the executive director of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, said after discussion about the weather, chamber members decided to go ahead with the sale despite a 50 percent chance of rain.
