Promotions pack schedule

NILES — The Mahoning Valley Scrappers announced weekly promotions for the 2008 season, including Buck Nights and special deals for youth ball players.

Thursday are Buck Nights. Fans can purchase general admission seats, hot dogs, Pepsi products and draft beer for $1.

Mondays will be All-You-Can-Eat Night. For $10 fans can choose from a menu including sandwiches, chips, popcorn, peanuts, candy and soft drinks.

Tuesdays will be Youth Sports Nights. Kids who wear their team jersey can get a general admission ticket for $1.

Fireworks will be held following every game on Fridays and Sundays, and on Wednesdays the Scrappers will pay tribute to holidays.

The team’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated all season on Saturdays, with giveaways and celebrity appearances.

The team’s Fan Fest is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eastwood Field. Fans can purchase single game tickets, tryouts for persons wishing to sing the National Anthem prior to games will be held.
