A homicide from 2006 is the focus of Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown this week:

Crime: Dirk Sims, 32, was shot several times around 8:40 p.m. July 6, 2006, and died later that night.

Site: The 1800 block of Belmont Avenue.

Details: Another shooting victim who survived said he and Sims had been talking outside a drive-through convenience store when someone opened fire behind them.
