Trumbull arts program seeks pupils
LORDSTOWN — Arts/EXCEL, Trumbull County Educational Service Center’s creative and performing arts program, will have an informational meeting for students and parents at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lordstown Middle School auditorium at state Route 45 and Salt Springs Road.
The program is a cooperative among 20 Trumbull County schools.
The center provides pupils in grades five through 10 an opportunity to develop their academic and artistic talents in the disciplines of art, dance, drama, vocal and instrumental music.
Pupils spend 21 Fridays during the school year interacting with instructors.
The program is accepting applications for new pupils entering the fifth through eighth grades in the 2008-09 school year.
