Marriage advice: No. 1, communication. No. 2, don’t sweat the small things.

Hometown: Youngstown

What’s new: Bought a new house and have a 2-year-old fox hound beagle.

Favorite part of WFMJ wedding: Community participation and everyone being excited for us.

Least favorite part: Camera ripped Philecia’s dress at the reception.

Your WFMJ wedding in one word or phrase: “Phenomenal”

Marriage advice: Be willing to adjust to each other’s differences.

Married in 2005

Hometown: North Lima

What’s new: Stay busy with our new house, got a miniature dachshund

Favorite part of WFMJ wedding: The people at WFMJ being so wonderful and accommodating.

Least favorite part: Being up early in the morning, which was fine once we were up.

Your WFMJ wedding in one word or phrase: “A magical day God blessed us with.”

Marriage advice: Never go to bed on an angry note, because you never know what could happen when you are sleeping.

Brad and Jennifer Smith

Married in 2006

Hometown: Boardman

What’s new: Building a house, but no drastic changes yet.

Favorite part: Audience involvement, they voted for us to win.

Least favorite part: It was a bit early for the guests.

Your WFMJ wedding in one word or phrase: “Unbelievable”

Marriage advice: Take your time and don’t rush into anything. It makes married life easier in the long run.
