Programs mark Pastor Wilkins’ anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN — Pastor George Wilkins of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 328 S. Forest St., will mark his 16th anniversary at the church with a series of programs. Activities, which are open to all, will be:

•Today, gospel concert with the Mighty Sons of Joy at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free.

•Monday, the Rev. C.L. Ellis, pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church, speaking at 7 p.m.

•Tuesday, the Rev. C. Glenn, pastor of First Calvary Baptist Church, speaking at 7 p.m.

•Wednesday, the Rev. Henry McNeil, pastor of First Baptist Church, 7 p.m.

•Thursday, the Rev. Dion Holmes, pastor of Christian Love Baptist Church, 7 p.m.

•Friday, the Rev. R. Kitchen, pastor of Oak Baptist Church, 7 p.m.

•May 18, the Rev. Gwen Alexander of Phillips Memorial Baptist Church speaking at 11:30 a.m. and the Rev. Harold Logan, pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, at 3:30 p.m.

The Rev. Walter Gillespie, pastor of Faith Temple Baptist Church of Campbell, spoke May 8 and the Rev. David Moncrief, pastor of Triedstone Baptist Church, spoke May 9.
