Karlene DuBois to be bride of Michael Allen

X YOUNGSTOWN — Announced by Peter and Kathleen DuBois, 421 Wyndclift Place, is the engagement of their daughter, Karlene DuBois, 2815 Shetland Place, Allison Park, Pa., and Michael Allen, of the same address.

Parents of the future groom are Richard and Kathy Allen, 118 Margate Manor, Butler, Pa.

Miss DuBois is a physical therapist with The Physical Therapy Institute in Washington, Pa. She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree and from Slippery Rock University with a doctorate in physical therapy.

Mr. Allen graduated from SRU with a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate of physical therapy. He is a physical therapist with Capital Healthcare Solutions in Pittsburgh.

The couple have planned a wedding that will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at St. Catherine of Sweden Church in Pittsburgh. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel.
