Laurie Lehosky is leaving WFMJ for Arizona

YOUNGSTOWN — After nine years, Laurie Lehosky is leaving her post as co-anchor of “WFMJ Today,” channel 21’s daily morning news magazine show.

Lehosky is stepping down because her husband, George Kukurin, is expanding his chiropractic business into Phoenix. Kukurin is maintaining his current practice in Pittsburgh, but will have to split his time between Pittsburgh and Arizona.

A search is being conducted by the station to find a replacement for Lehosky to join Scott Schneider, the other co-host of “WFMJ Today.”
