Kristen Devine, Samuel Gorant to exchange vows

X Thomas Devine of Harrodsburg, Ky., and Elaine Gorant of Canfield announce the engagement of their children, Kristen Devine of Hanover Street, Lexington, Ky., and Samuel Gorant of Crossmont Court, New Albany.

Miss Devine is also the daughter of the late Verna Devine. Mr. Gorant is also the son of the late Samuel Gorant.

St. Peter Church will be the site of the couple’s wedding at 1 p.m. July 5, and a reception will follow at Keeneland Park, both in Lexington. Invitations will be extended.

The bride-to-be obtained a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University in Lexington. She is a flight attendant for Comair Airline in Cincinnati.

The prospective groom, who graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree, is a pilot for Comair.
