July wedding set by Carla DeToro and Jason Collins

X The engagement of Carla DeToro, a daughter of James and Sue DeToro, 423 Forest Hill Drive, Austintown, and Jason Collins, a son of Dave and Becky Collins, 1182 Beechwood Drive S.E., Girard, is announced by their parents.

Miss DeToro graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University. She is a seventh-grade volleyball coach and a permanent substitute with Liberty Local Schools.

Mr. Collins is a football and basketball coach and substitute teacher with Trumbull County Schools in Girard. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in physical education.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows at 2:30 p.m. July 19 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception that evening at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.
