• American Business Women’s Association Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter will have a mother/daughter dinner on Wednesday at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. GUILDS
• Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Those attending are asked to take a bar of soap, some roving and a nylon stocking (knee-highs will do) for a felted soap project.

• Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.
• St. Anthony Auxiliary of Struthers will hold a Mother’s Day banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rusty’s Southside Grill. Julie Visingardi, Jennie Domico and Lora Opsitnik will be hostesses for the buffet dinner. A social will follow. Reservations are to be made with the telephone committee.
• St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Youngstown will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday with Mary Ann Cardiero presiding. Plans will be finalized for a breakfast to take place May 18 after the 10 a.m. Mass, at which new members will be installed.
