ATHLETIC GROUPS

• McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Blue Devil Room at the high school.

ASSOCIATIONS

• American Business Women’s Association Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter will have a mother/daughter dinner on Wednesday at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. • Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

CLUBS

• Youngstown Panhellenic will hold its final meeting of the season at 6 p.m. May 19 at Boardman Park Community Center with the “Return of the Spread.” Youngstown State University Panhellenic members will be special guests. A regular schedule of meetings will resume in September.

• Girard Golden Eagles meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.

GUILDS

• Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Those attending are asked to take a bar of soap, some roving and a nylon stocking (knee-highs will do) for a felted soap project.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.

• St. Anthony Auxiliary of Struthers will hold a Mother’s Day banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rusty’s Southside Grill. Julie Visingardi, Jennie Domico and Lora Opsitnik will be hostesses for the buffet dinner. A social will follow. Reservations are to be made with the telephone committee.

• St. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Youngstown will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday with Mary Ann Cardiero presiding. Plans will be finalized for a breakfast to take place May 18 after the 10 a.m. Mass, at which new members will be installed. Sandy Chasko is chairwoman, and hostesses are Jennifer Mason, Judi Mascadine, Mary Maytos, Caroline McCaffrey and Josephine McMillen.

• St. Rose Catholic Women’s Club will meet Monday at Ciminero's in Niles for a spring banquet. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. followed by installation of officers. Cost of the meal is $18.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

• St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Rose Church meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

• Struthers K. of C. Ladies 4224 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Youngstown Sports Grille on South Avenue. Members are to take Birthright donations. Hostesses are Lora Opsitnik, Louise Horvath and Betty Zebrowski. A Mother of the Year will be honored.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road.
