Severance packages - Youngstown city retirees

The Youngstown Board of Control is expected today to approve severance payments to 16 former city employees who accepted early-retirement buyouts. Below are the ex-employees, their job titles and the buyout amounts.

Linda DeJoe, litter department’s educator/aide, $10,630.83.

James J. DeGeorge, water department turnkey, $14,909.59.

Pete Klimis, assistant law director, $3,050.55.

Kelsey S. Codner, human resource supervisor, $2,327.10.

Terry Dillon, public works/street department garage man, $6,408.75.

Wayna Hightower, director of nursing, $30,035.98.

Debra Cobbin, rat control educator aide, $13,120.71.

Ruth Rhodes, sexually transmitted disease supervisor, $12,573.33.

Stephanie Mason, clerk typist at the health department, $2,457.25.

Andrea Castrodale, civil service commission secretary/office assistant, $18,591.92.

Louis Joseph, water department construction foreman, $10,245.91.

Terrance L. Landis, water department construction foreman, $23,202.79.

Elsa Russo, clerk of court’s deputy clerk/bookkeeper, $9,600.16.

Joan Hughes, clerk of court’s deputy clerk, $6,502.54.

Joyce Laska, clerk of court’s deputy clerk, $32,321.51.

Jeffrey Hankavich, clerk of court’s deputy clerk, $23,468.66.
