What’s planned at the theater:
Free program: Thursday with short multimedia presentation about the theater and performances at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. by the cabaret duo of pianist Rick Blackson and singer Mary Jo Maluso. Tours and refreshments. Tickets at the box office.
Paid event: The classic 1961 film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” starring Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard and Patricia Neal at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and 4, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $6 ($5 for seniors; $4 for children under 12).
Mother’s Day: Dessert buffet at Encore Cafe starting at 2 p.m., followed by live entertainment and a showing of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and seniors ($7 for children under 12).
Coming soon
May 13-21: “Shrek” marathon, with all three films in the series.
May 22: “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” a summer blockbuster. (At least three-week run).
July 11-13: “A Soldier’s Tale,” a musical composition by Igor Stravinsky, directed by Jon Simsic.
July 18: “The Dark Knight,” the new Batman movie. (At least a three-week run.)
August: “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon,” new film.
Summer: A “Voice of Main Street Theater” singing competition for all ages is also planned this summer. Registration is $20 and includes one free movie pass. To register call (330) 482-9647. The winner will receive studio recording time and other prizes.
Info: First-run movies will be $6 or $7, and second-run films, which are several months past their release date, will be $4.
