First Book fund-raising golf outing Aug. 16 at Bedford Trails

LOWELLVILLE — First Book Mahoning Valley will have its first fund-raising golf outing Aug. 16 at Bedford Trails Golf Course, 713 Bedford Road. Golfers and hole sponsors are needed, and donations will be accepted.

Since being founded in 1992, First Book has distributed more than 10,000 books to area children.
