Cub Scouts welcome families to join events

POLAND — Poland Cub Scout packs invite families to join and to participate in two springtime events.

Cub Scout Pack 2 will have a family adventure hike in Poland Woods at 6 p.m. May 12. Participants will meet at Poland Middle School, 47 College St. For more information or for those unable to attend, call Louise Yerian at (330) 707-9620. Rain day is May 19.

Cub Scout Pack 44 will sponsor a Bike Safety Rodeo at 6 p.m. May 13 at Bethel Friends Church, 2771 Spitler Road. For more information or for those unable to attend, call Patti Hockensmith at (330) 727-3344.

A parent or guardian must be present to sign up your son. Fees will be collected that evening. Newly registered boys will be eligible for Summer Day Camp and Resident Camp.
