Cinderella Ball debutantes may file their applications

YOUNGSTOWN — Debutante applications are now available for the Junior Civic League’s 53rd Annual Cinderella Ball, which will take place Nov. 28. The theme will be “Captured in a Dream.” Following are the general instructions and qualifications for applicants:

• The applicant’s grade point average must be 2.0 or higher and verified with the signature of the principal or guidance counselor.

• The applicant must be a high-school senior this fall.

• The applicant must be single and not a parent.

• A fee of $75 must accompany the application. To get an application form, visit www.juniorcivicleague.org.

• The deadline to submit an application is June 1.

Miss Cinderella can receive a $2,500 scholarship.
