REUNIONS | Former classmates plan get-togethers

• East High School Class of 1954 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Johnny’s Restaurant on Market Street, Boardman. Spouses are welcome.

• All former employees of the Franklin and Cherry Hill Furniture Co. are invited to attend the annual reunion at 6 p.m. May 24 at Antone’s Italian Cafe, 36 S. Main St., Columbiana. The cost is $12.49, which includes tax and tip. The buffet will include roast beef, baked chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, and coffee or tea. Desserts will cost extra. • The 106th annual Greene Alumni Banquet will take place at 6 p.m. May 24 at Maplewood North Elementary School, 1699 Kinsman Road, North Bloomfield, in Greene Township, for anyone who attended Greene School. The doors will open at 5 p.m., and a Swiss steak dinner will be served at a cost of $10 with reservations or $12 at the door. • Hubbard High School Classes of 1960 through 1969 have planned a three-day combined “Back to the 60s” reunion to be held in October. Scheduled are: Oct. 3, attend homecoming football game (purchase tickets at gate), followed by a mixer at Frankie’s; Oct. 4, a casual dress sock hop at St. Patrick Hall featuring a buffet and cash bar; and Oct. 5, tour of high school and memorial tribute to classmates.
