How it’s done

Here are the steps that would be taken to impeach Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann:

A resolution is introduced in the Ohio House for impeachment.

The 99-member body votes on it. A simple majority is needed to move it to the 33-member Ohio Senate.

The Senate has a trial, and two-thirds of its members must vote to convict.
