INVOLVEMENT OF THE YOUTH: Alex Downie, a 14-year-old Boardman Center Middle School pupil, stands near candles lit to remember the 6 million people who died during the Holocaust. Downie prepared a slide show about Kristallnacht, believed by many to be the official start of the Holocaust.
