Surprise party held in observance of Vitullo 50th

X YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. James Vitullo, 3316 Sunnybrook Drive, were the guests of honor at a surprise dinner party held May 3 at St. Christine Parish Center in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Invitations for the festivity were extended by their children, Roxane Bees, Tony and Sherry Vitullo and Greg Vitullo, all of Youngstown, and Jim and Brenda Vitullo of Austintown. The couple have six grandchildren.

The former Pauline Troxil and Mr. Vitullo were united in marriage May 3, 1958, at St. Matthias Church. They are members of St Brendan Church.

Mrs. Vitullo retired in 1988 from St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was a licensed practical nurse.

Mr. Vitullo was employed on the assembly line at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 2000.
