Submissions sought for agricultural guide

YOUNGSTOWN — People have until May 12 to submit information on their products and services for the “Mahoning Valley Agriculture Products Services Guide.”

Artists may also submit their design for a logo for the guide.

The Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District, the Mahoning County Farm Bureau, and the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Service are looking for producers in Mahoning County and surrounding areas.

The guide would promote locally grown vegetables, fruits, plants, and other commodities and services. The logo winner will be credited in the guide.

People may view and print a copy of the survey at www.mahoningfarmbureau.com. Completed surveys and logos can be sent to scovert@mahoningcountyoh.gov, or mailed to the Mahoning SWCD, 850 Industrial Road, Youngstown, 44509-2955. For more information, call (330) 740-7995.
