Mercer County: Sentencings


Judges in Mercer County Common Pleas Court sentenced these people to either prison or probation. According to court records:

Trevoune Craig, 20, of Spearman Avenue, Sharon, re-sentenced to four months to one year in prison for possession of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia. He had been placed on two years’ probation for the 2007 offenses, but his probation was revoked after he violated his probation by being convicted on new criminal charges.

Pamela Howard, 36, of West State Street, Sharon, placed on two years’ probation and ordered to make restitution for forgery and theft by unlawful taking. Howard forged a signature on four checks totaling $1,900 and cashed at them at banks in Hermitage and Farrell in July and August 2007. During the same time period, she took $500 cash from a Hermitage address.

Chad Miklo, 26, of River Road, Greenville, sentenced to six to 23 months in jail for theft by deception. On Sept. 5, 2007, he took a dehumidifier off a store shelf at Wal-Mart, 1275 North Hermitage Road, Hermitage, and then tried to exchange it at the store for cash or credit.

Kenneth Russell, 51, of Borland Road, Sandy Lake, placed on four years’ probation for delivery of a controlled substance. On April 28, 2006, he delivered four packages of fentanyl transdermal patches to another person at Borland and Booker Roads, New Vernon Township. The fentanyl patch provides a continuous delivery of pain reliever to a patient with ongoing pain.

Robert Wright, 54, of Negley Street, Farrell, sentenced to one to two years in jail for unlawful restraint and two counts of terroristic threats. On April 20, 2005, Wright kept a woman in an apartment for several hours and would not let her leave and threatened to kill her. The victim later fled and was later treated at a hospital for face, neck and head bruises. Also, on May 26, 2005, he went into the same woman’s bedroom at a Farrell address and threatened to kill her.

Christopher Ziros, 31, of Maple Drive, Greenville, placed on a one- year probation for false identification to law enforcement authorities. He gave a false name to law enforcement officers when they questioned him at his residence.

Darryl Lee, 19, address given as the Mercer County Jail, placed on two years’ probation for having weapons or implements for escape. On Sept. 16, 2007, he possessed a toothbrush that had been issued to him with a handle that had been sharpened to a point. He also got an additional 30 to 90 days for harassment for shoving a 75-year-old inmate, causing him to reel backward at the jail.

Robert Gallagher, formerly of Main Street, Pulaski, sentenced to nine months to three years in prison for felony escape to be served consecutive to a term he is already serving. On May 13, 2007, Gallagher fled after being granted permission to step outside the Sharon Community Corrections Center, 300 W. State St., Sharon, where he was serving a sentence for criminal trespass.

Keith Allen, 21, of Larimer Road, Hadley, placed on one-year probation and fined $500 for fleeing and eluding. He also was fined $250 for several traffic offenses. Allen led Pennsylvania State Police on a chase July 28, 2007, on Laver and Fredonia Roads, Perry Township, at speeds in excess of 100 mph. Allen had a passenger in the bed of his pickup truck during the chase. He was finally apprehended after losing control on a curve and sliding off the road.

Demaun Green, 30, of Frank Street, Sharon, sentenced to four to 24 months in jail for carrying a firearm without a license. He possessed a concealed 9 millimeter firearm at a Farrell residence Sept. 11, 2007.

Christopher Liska, 25, of Hadley Road, Greenville, sentenced to two days to one year in the Mercer County Jail, ordered to make restitution and do 150 hours community service for institutional vandalism. On July 1, 2007, he entered St. Michael Catholic Church, 85 N. High St., Greenville, and did $1,000 damage to two doors and a window.
