Marriage: Jennifer Hill and Gary Evans

X YOUNGSTOWN — The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 1 p.m. March 1 as Jennifer Hill of Canfield and Gary Evans of Austintown were united in marriage at Martin Luther Lutheran Church.

A reception was held at The Georgetown in Boardman to honor the daughter of Greg and Linda Eckstein of Canfield and Paul and Sandy Hill of Lisbon, and the son of Ron and Nancy Evans of Austintown.

Crystals and pearls enhanced the bodice of the bride’s European ivory satin gown. It featured a tufted skirt and chapel train. Her attendants wore European berry-colored gowns.

Liz Roberts was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Alicia Hill, the bride’s sister-in-law; Amy Evans, the groom’s sister; and Sara Lewis, a cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jordan Evans, the groom’s niece.

Scott Evans served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Jason Hill, the bride’s brother; Matt Miller; and Dan Temneck, the groom’s cousin. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Tyler Evans.

Mrs. Evans is a customer-service representative with Home Savings. She earned an associate degree in applied business/fashion merchandising at Virginia Marti College of Art and Design in Lakewood.

Mr. Evans graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology. He is employed with First Energy in Akron.
