GM, UAW in Lordstown reach tentative agreement
The ratification vote is Thursday and Friday.

LORDSTOWN — The shop committee of United Autoworkers Local 1714 announced that it has reached a tentative local work agreement with Lordstown General Motors.
A ratification vote is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Local 1714 represents about 1,000 active members at the Lordstown GM Metal Fabricating Plant.
Notice of the tentative agreement was posted on the UAW Local 1714 Web site shortly after 4 p.m. Friday. It said the shop committee will present information on the tentative agreement and answer questions at membership meetings Tuesday.
Here is the schedule: 7:15 a.m., third shift, production and skilled workers; noon, second shift, pressroom; 2 p.m., second shift, metal assembly; 3:15 p.m., first shift, production and skilled workers.
The ratification vote will be in the plant hallway from 5 a.m. Thursday to 1:30 a.m. Friday.
