Season to date: After failing to qualify for the first time in the 2008 season, the Hartford native stands in 36th place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings. Blaney has 546 points and is 483 points behind Juan Pablo Montoya, who sits in 12th place in the Chase for the Spring Cup standings.
