Dann Live: Cronyism, rumors, lack of professionalism in AG office
The Ohio Attorney General’s wife, Alyssa Lenhoff Dann, was not interviewed as part of an investigation of sexual harrassment complaints.
But because of rumors of inter-office affairs, “it was a very uncomfortable moment” when she confronted Cindy Stankowski, one of the complainants, said Ben Espy, executive assistant attorney general.
Management fraternizing with employees over drinks and inviting them to their homes gave rise to rumors of affairs, Espy said.
There was a “general lack of professionalism and respect” in the office. Attorney General Marc Dan “exercized poor judgment” by inviting Stankowski to his residence for pizza, Espy said.
