Real estate agent safety class scheduled

WARREN – A March 3 armed robbery of a real estate agent in Howland has prompted the Warren Area Board of Realtors to offer a safety class from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at DeLucia’s, 2610 Elm Road. The class, which costs $10 at the door, will focus on personal safety techniques, home safety and prevention measures. The Century 21 agent told police she was driving a man around to show him properties when he pulled a pistol on her. He ordered her to withdraw money from the Seven Seventeen Credit Union on Larchmont Avenue, but she wasn’t a depositor. She managed to get out of her car and gunman drove off with her car.
