Mountaineer strike has no effect on business

CHESTER, W.V. — Officials at Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort say a strike by Local 23 UFCW, which represents slot technicians, attendants, cashiers and count room employees, has not affected business at the casino. Slot revenue Friday was $828,000, the strongest Friday in March. Slot revenue Saturday night was $1,115,000, the second highest Saturday in March, casino officials reported Sunday.
