“A Century of Headlines” (10 p.m., PBS): It began in 1908 as a social club for newspapermen — female reporters weren’t admitted until 1971 — and its membership has included presidents of the United States, from Warren Harding to George W. Bush. The National Press Club, the D.C.-based organization’s mission has changed over the years, and it regularly hosts speakers as varied as the Dalai Lama and George Clooney. This documentary by Washington area filmmaker Jerry Krell traces the history of the group through interviews, vintage photos and film.
