X CAMPBELL — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony March 1 as Maria Lynn Giangiuli, a daughter of Anthony and Raphaeline Giangiuli of Hubbard, and Aristidis T. Kantaras, a son of Thomas and Irene Kantaras of Boardman, were united in marriage by the Rev. Steve Denas at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.

After a reception at Archangel Michael Community Center, the couple left for Puerto Vallarta. They are living in Boardman.

The bride’s strapless, ivory, mermaid-style gown was enhanced with crystals and beading and featured a chapel train.

Cinnamon dresses were worn by the honor attendant, Angela Giangiuli, and the bridesmaids, Carla Smaltz, Kristen Smaltz, Courtney Smaltz, Kristin Bowser, Kim Garner, Susan Hawkins-Wilding and Sarah Keto. Flower girls were Anna Kantaras and Kayla Segesto.

Best man and koumbaros was Dr. Anthony Kantaras, and groomsmen were Gus Kantaras, Michael Kantaras, Stavro Diamandis, Lance Ferkula, Mantho Ginnis, Rich Greenwalt and Courtney Webb. Ring bearers were Thomas Kantaras and Anthony Kantaras.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering. She is a manufacturing and process engineer with Kraftmaid Cabinetry Inc. in Middlefield.

The groom, a corrections officer at Ohio State Penitentiary in Youngstown, attended YSU.
