Katie MacDonald to be May bride of Frank Gallagher

X CANFIELD — The engagement and plans for the spring wedding of their daughter, Katie Lauren MacDonald, 35 Neff Drive, and Frank Gallagher, 316 Callahan Road, are being announced by Scott MacDonald and Katherine MacDonald, both of Canfield.

Timothy Gallagher of Warren and Deborah Maloney of Canfield are parents of the prospective groom.

The bride-elect graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Mount Union College in Alliance. She earned a master’s degree in early childhood curriculum at Youngstown State University and is a kindergarten teacher with Western Reserve Local School District in Berlin Center.

Her fianc is a lending associate with Farmer’s National Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at YSU.

The couple will be married in an afternoon ceremony May 31 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for the wedding and an evening reception at the Avalon Inn and Resort in Howland.
