X YOUNGSTOWN — Gatlinburg, Tenn., was the honeymoon destination of David Hubbard and his bride, the former Karen Riley, after their Nov. 10, 2007, wedding at St. Patrick Church.

The Rev. Edward Noga officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Richard and Linda Riley, 5833-B Herons Blvd., Austintown, and the son of Gerry Voelkel of Harrison and the late Thomas Voelkel.

The couple received congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

Designed with cap sleeves and an ivory lace overlay, the bride's champagne satin A-line gown was enhanced with champagne bugle beads.

Cornflower-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kristen Sloan, and the bridesmaids, Jane Riley, Ashlie Case, and Mallorie Hubbard. Flower girls were Carrighan Hubbard and Olivia Veltschi.

The duties of best man were performed by Andrew Merrell, and serving as groomsmen were Keith Riley, William Sloan and Corey Lewis. Ring bearers were Sam Riley, Rex Riley and Billy Sloan. Guests were ushered by John Hubbard and Timothy Voelkel.

Mrs. Hubbard attended the University of Cincinnati and is a 911 operator for Hamilton County in Cincinnati.

Mr. Hubbard is a deputy sheriff with Hamilton County Sheriff's Department.

The couple live at 1404 Stone Drive in Harrison.
