Thunder 2008 Opens

The Mahoning Valley Thunder exploded for 36 straight points in the second half to rally for a 59-33 victory over the Albany Conquest in Saturday's af2 opener at the Chevrolet Centre.

Ursuline High graduate Josh Swogger threw for four touchdowns and ran for another to lead Mahoning Valley, which trailed 33-23 early in the third quarter.
