Baptist pastors to remember Dr. King

YOUNGSTOWN — The Baptist Pastors’ Council of Youngstown and Vicinity will commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King during a service at noon Friday in the rotunda of Mahoning County Courthouse, 120 Market St. The public observance will feature music and reflections.

This year represents the 40th anniversary of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination by James Earl Ray on the balcony of the Lorainne Motel in Memphis, Tenn. He was killed April 4, 1968.
