Assault case in Boardman

BOARDMAN — A Colwyn court man was released after posting bond, accused of assaulting his live-in girlfriend.

Pat Linker, 62, was charged with felonious assault. He was arrested at St. Elizabeth Health Center’s Boardman Campus Thursday morning.

The girlfriend, 39, told police that she was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She said that she was asleep in her bed early Monday when she was awakened by Linker shoving her out of bed. She struck her face on the nightstand and then Linker struck her about her face and torso, knocking her unconscious, according to a police report.

She suffered bruises on her forehead and arms and broken and missing teeth. A warrant was issued for Linker’s arrest and he was arrested when he came to the hospital.
